Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) founder and Union Minister Ram Vilas Paswan has been admitted to ICU and is in critical condition, said Paswan's son Chirag Paswan.
Following which it is not possible for Chirag to visit Bihar right now, said sources.
In a letter written to party workers, Chirag said his party is yet to talk with National Democratic Alliance (NDA) partners over seat sharing for the Bihar Assembly elections scheduled to be held in October-November.
The LJP is a constituent of the Bharatiya Janata party-led NDA. The Janata Dal United is also part of the alliance and in recent months Paswan has been critical of its leader and Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.
