Union Information and Broadcasting Minister Anurag Thakur on Wednesday hit out at Congress leader Rahul Gandhi for criticising the BJP over the use of bulldozers for an anti-encroachment drive in violence-hit areas of Delhi and Madhya Pradesh.
“He is doing no good to the country by sowing the seeds of hatred. He is maligning the country’s image... This is all you can expect from someone whose history is linked to corruption and riots,” Thakur replied to Rahul’s comment.
He also hit back at the Aam Aadmi Party for accusing the BJP of instigating riots and saying that its headquarters should be bulldozed. “It is a party which goes to the extent of compromising with terrorists and separatists for power,” Thakur alleged.
