All India NR Congress (AINRC) of Puducherry is the new addition to the rainbow alliance floated by the BJP in south India. On Wednesday, N Rangasamy, the Chief Minister of Puducherry and president of the AINRC, declared his support for Narendra Modi, the prime ministerial candidate of the BJP.
“We in AINRC want to see a strong and united India. This could be realised only if Narendra Modi becomes the Prime Minister of the country. The All India NRC would contest the lone lok Sabha seat from Puducherry as a constituent of the National democratic Alliance led by the BJP,” Rangasamay told The Pioneer over telephone from Puducherry.
