Maritime bills passed
Parliament passed two bills to modernise maritime sector. The Lok Sabha passed the Merchant Shipping Bill, while the Rajya Sabha cleared the Carriage of Goods by Sea Bill.
Bajaj Auto Q1 profit up 13.8%
Bajaj Auto reported a 13.84 per cent rise in Q1 FY26 consolidated profit to `2,210.44 crore, driven by strong exports and higher sales of premium motorcycles, commercial vehicles, and Chetak electric scooters.
