Soon after taking oath as a Cabinet Minister in the Modi Government, former Goa Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar flew to lucknow to file his nomination papers for Rajya Sabha (RS) on Monday from Uttar Pradesh. Parrikar was accompanied by another Union Minister Rajiv Pratap Rudy.The BJP legislative party is expected to nominate him for the RS berth from the State.A technocrat-turned politician and three-time Goa CM, Parrikar is known for his administrative acumen and a clean image.
