Outrage as Pak sends beef as 'relief' to Hindu majority Nepal

Published on:

Already battling with the devastation of the earthquake, Nepal is upset with Pakistan for sending packets of “beef masala” among ready-to-eat food materials. According to a report in Daily Mail, Pakistan sent objectionable food as a part of its relief material.

Nepal has a majority of Hindu population of which most consider cows as sacred. The move by Pakistan has the potential to create a diplomatic row among the SAARC member countries. According to media report, Indian doctors in Kathmandu said packets were sent by Pakistan on Tuesday as part of relief aid.
