Sushma Swaraj has made it clear that PM Narendra Modi's visit to Bangladesh is only related to land Boundary Agreement and that the Teesta Water Treaty will not be signed this time. “We have not reached an agreement on Teesta as we have to take the West Bengal Government in confidence,” Swaraj said, adding the Bengal Government has some concerns and the treaty can be signed only after taking the State on board. She said agreements for 52 other rivers also have to be worked out and the Water Resources Ministry is looking after this.
