Naxal attack 'insider' plot, alleges BJP

In new twist to the May 25 massacre of Congress leaders at Darbha in Chhattisgarh, the BJP on Thursday alleged an “insider” plot. TV reports quoted BJP national general secretary Ananth Kumar saying in Gwalior that there was a conspiracy behind the killing of the Congress leaders and referred to reports about Jogi’s alleged involvement in the mayhem.

Conspiracy theories are doing the rounds post the deadly Maoist attack on the Congress’ ‘Parivartan Yatra’ convoy amid charge of last-minute change in the route and presence of a Naxal mole in the convoy. It is being pointed that Jogi always used an ambulance for travelling inside Chhattisgarh, but that day he flew by a helicopter to the rally spot and returned ahead of others.

Questions are also being asked why the Maoists allowed Congress MlA Kawasi lakma, known for his proximity to Jogi, to flee from the spot. Much significance is also being attached to the discrepancies in the statements of lakma and his driver to TV channels although they went through the same experience.
