With the EC announcing the dates for the two-phase Manipur legislative Assembly polls, the United Naga Council (UNC) has convened a meeting on January 7 to decide whether it will continue the ongoing blockade of National Highways 2 and 53, UNC general secretary Milan Shimrey told The Pioneer. However, former president of UNC KS Paul told IANS that the blockade will continue.
