Infighting within the AAP once again came to the fore when two of its key members Yogendra Yadav and Naveen Jaihind tendered their resignation from the membership of the party’s Political Affairs Committee (PAC) and National Executive (NE) respectively on Saturday.
Although on the face of it, the action came as a knee-jerk reaction from both for AAP’s poor performance in Haryana in the 16th lok Sabha polls, the move is seen as an alleged fallout of the bickering between the two.
While the AAP received a jolt with their resignations, both have, however, clarified that they have not resigned from the party, but from the posts they held.
