Rakshabandan turned out to be a nightmare for thousands of commuters travelling in the Delhi Metro especially on the Blue Line, as the services were hit for nearly one hour due to overhead electricity (OHE) tripping caused due to kite threads entangled at multiple locations from Subhash Nagar to Rajori Garden section.
“Services on Blue Line were affected on Thursday between 2:00 pm and 3:15 pm,” said an official of the DMRC.
However, the services resumed later.
