Reacting strongly on the speech of Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan stated that the Congress has been doing politics that is filled with scams and corruption.
Soon after Rahul Gandhi addressed public meeting in Gwalior, Chouhan tweeted, “Congress vice-president says that he wants to begin a new form of politics. We all know the form of politics they do — filled with scams and corruption. People will respond to them suitable today, tomorrow, on November 25 and in the year 2014.”
This is probably the first time that Chief Minister Chouhan reacted to the statements of Congress vice president.
Similar reaction was poured in by BJP vice president Uma Bharti, who termed the tribal love of Rahul Gandhi as mere show. She added that his love for them would be endorsed only if he (Rahul) invites them to his residence where they have lunch with him.
The party had released an advertisement in newspapers on Thursday, in which Rahul Gandhi was asked 10 questions related to the corruption prevalent in the UPA Government led by Congress and other issues including release of Union Carbide gas tragedy accused.
