Hazare supporter hurls ink at Kejri; Anna questions if movement fund used for campaign

Published on:

A high drama was witnessed on Monday at Aam Aadmi Party convener Arvind Kejriwal’s press conference when a man, claiming to be Anna Hazare supporter and a BJP activist from Maharashtra, threw black ink on him and other party members present. Nachiketa Vaghrekar claimed Anna to be his guru and accused Kejriwal of “betraying Hazare and betraying people”.

Meanwhile in reply to Anna’s letter whether the fund collected during the Jan lokpal movement was being using in the AAP election campaign, Kejriwal said if he is found guilty, he will not contest the election which will be held on December 4.

Hours after the disruption of Arvind Kejriwal press conference, BJP distanced itself from the man who heckled him, saying he is a former member of the party and has been active in Anna Hazare’s movement.
