In an embarrassment to Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, a murder accused who had been absconding shared dais with him at a public rally in Gaya on Friday, though he was later arrested and sent to jail.
An arrest warrant issued against Javed Khan by a Gaya court was pending since December. The warrant was issued in connection with the murder of property dealer Naushad Khan in April last year. Khan reportedly was absconding ever since the court warrant was issued.
