The Supreme Court on Friday has sought the response of the Centre and CBI on a PIl that sought FIR in the AgustaWestland helicopter scam against all named
by an Italian court. The PIl pleaded with the court to appoint a Special Investigation Team to conduct a court-monitored probe.
The PIl, filed by advocate Manohar lal Sharma, sought FIR against political leaders, including UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi and former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, whose names figure in the Italian court’s judgment of April 7.
