In an alarming revelation for other parties, the Indian farmer community has indicated its ‘vote intention’ for the BJP in the upcoming lok Sabha polls saying that the BJP was the party that ‘cared’ for farmers’ interest most.
The vote intention of the farmers to BJP stood at 30 per cent against the Congress which stood at 17 per cent as per the survey by CSDS and the Bharat Krishak Samaj. The survey has also revealed that the 47 per cent of the farmer community in the country was not happy with the condition of farmers in the country.
