Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday was conferred with Egypt’s highest state honour ‘Order of the Nile’ by Egypt President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi in Cairo. This is the 13th such highest state honour that various countries across the world have conferred upon Modi. Giving details of Modi’s talks with the Egyptian President, Foreign Secretary Vinay Kwatra later said Sisi conferred on Modi, the ‘Order of the Nile’ honour which is the highest civilian award in Egypt.
