Fans of Diljit Dosanjh who feared their plans were off can relax. The singer’s October 30 concert at Jawaharlal Nehru (JLN) Stadium will go ahead as scheduled. The Delhi Police have reconsidered and granted permission for the event, a day after they withheld clearance citing security concerns and law and order commitments during the festive season.

Ticketing platform BookMyShow Live said on Friday, October 23, 2026, that reports suggesting the concert had been cancelled were “inaccurate.” It confirmed that permission had been issued after a “cordial and constructive meeting” with the police. The organisers said they had presented a detailed plan. It addressed the safety, traffic and crowd-management measures sought by the authorities.
