Former Captain of Indian cricket team MS Dhoni and Jharkhand cricket team had a miraculous escape when the hotel in Delhi’s Dwarka they were staying in caught fire on Friday morning. Dhoni and his teammates from Jharkhand were evacuated by the security staff of ITC Welcome Hotel. Tamil Nadu cricket team was also staying in the same hotel and all the players were taken out safely.
Following the incident, the semi-final match of the Vijay Hazare Trophy between Jharkhand and West Bengal scheduled to be played at Air Force ground at Palam on Friday has been postponed and is to be held on Saturday in Feroz Shah Kotla stadium.
