Concerned about stubble burning in neighbouring States, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Friday said, “Smoke emanating from these States was resulting in ‘severe’ pollution in the national Capital and hoped that all agencies and institutions, including the Supreme Court and the National Green Tribunal (NGT), will take concrete steps to eradicate the problem.”

Highlighting the problem of stubble burning in Punjab, Haryana and West Uttar Pradesh, Kejriwal tweeted, “Pollution in the city reduced by 25 per cent in the earlier part of the year. But the burning of stubble in neighbouring States in October and November is resulting in severe pollution.
