Amid rising coronavirus cases in the national Capital, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Monday ordered to seal Delhi’s borders connecting Haryana and Uttar Pradesh. Also, Kejriwal has sought suggestion from Delhiites via WhatsApp and emails on the issue. Sources said after reviewing the feedback, the Delhi Government will decide whether borders to neighbouring States should be opened or not.

“Delhi’s borders will be sealed for a week due to rising coronavirus cases. Essential services will remain functional and Government officers can travel on their identity cards. Delhi residents can send their suggestions via WhatsApp 8800007722, email delhicm.suggestions@gmail.com and can call on 1031 by Friday 5 pm.

“Delhi to open salons and barber shops, movement on road restricted from 9 pm to 5 am except for essential services,” a Delhi Government’s order read.
