Sacked Delhi Water Minister and suspended AAP leader Kapil Mishra continued his tirade against Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal.
He alleged on Monday that Health Minister Satyendar Jain had told him about a Rs50 crore land deal and Rs7 crore Chhatarpur farmhouse deal for Kejriwal’s deceased brother-in-law.
“I am naming the relative finally since the AAP leaders wanted to know. These deals were asked to be settled by Jain for his (Kejriwal’s) brother-in-law and are in the name of Bhansals,” he said.
Also, he alleged that Public Works Department’s (PWD) settled a fake bill of Rs10 crore for Kejriwal’s brother-in-law. Mishra termed AAP’s allegation that he was in touch with the BJP as baseless.
“I will not join the BJP. If there is anyone who openly and fiercely criticised the BJP over Kashmir, Pathankot and corruption in civic bodies, it is me. I challenge AAP leaders, including Sanjay Singh, to prove with evidence that I was in touch with any person from the BJP. I challenge the AAP to make public the files pertaining to decisions they have taken in the last two years. I will never leave the AAP.
Anyone who points the finger at Kejriwal and other AAP leaders is accused of being a BJP agent,” Mishra told the media on Monday. Mishra accused the AAP of “massive corruption” in Punjab Assembly elections.
He said the AAP was involved in corruption while distributing tickets in Punjab and supplied liquor.
On Sunday, Mishra had accused Kejriwal of corruption of Rs 2 crore from his confidant and Transport Minister Satyender Jain. However, Jain refuted the allegations.
Earlier, the ex-Minister was quizzed by the Anti-Corruption Branch in the alleged tanker scam that dates back to Congress Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit’s tenure. “I told the ACB officials how Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal deliberately delayed the report and how public money was misused. “
He tweeted, “Met ACB officials and gave information on “Role of Arvind Kejriwal Ji and two of his close associates in Tanker Scam (sic)”. “Next will go to CBI to file a case on illegal cash deal.”
The tanker scam relates to alleged irregularities in the hiring of private tankers to supply water.
Calling Jain Raja Harishchander by giving clean chits to yourself on his social networking profile, Mishra said “let the issue be probed first.”
“So Satyendra Jain is giving clean chit to Arvind Kejriwal ji and Arvind Kejriwal ji giving clean chit to Satyendra Jain. Simply wow !!!,” Mishra later tweeted.
He also alleged AAP leader Sanjay Singh was involved in lobbying for overseas funding of the party.
He also claimed that since he has made accusations against Kejriwal, he has been receiving death threats from those who are close to the chief minister. Slamming the CM, Mishra said Kejriwal does not want to resign. “Kejriwal’s weakness is his chair. He does not want to leave his chair. I want to ask Kejriwal if he will resign the day when Jain is sent to jail in a corruption case,” he said.
“There are four to five persons in the AAP’s Political Affairs Committee (PAC) who are indulging in corruption. I have got to know that PAC will throw me out of the party in the evening. I will not accept the decision of PAC which takes the same in a closed room. The AAP is not the party of four to five persons and it is the people’s party and people will decide who should remain in AAP,” Mishra said.
