Days after attending the meeting of the Opposition parties in Patna, TMC supremo and West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Monday launched a scathing attack on the Congress and the CPI(M), accusing them of being duplicitous and conspiring with the BJP to defeat her party.
Asserting the significance of the forthcoming panchayat elections, Banerjee declared, "The BJP will lose the parliamentary elections. We will defeat the BJP at the Centre and oust them from India and form a development-oriented Government." She directly blamed the Congress and the CPI(M) for their contradictory actions, stating, "There in Delhi, the Congress and CPI(M) are joining hands with us to fight the Narendra Modi Government, but here in Bengal, they are conspiring with BJP to defeat us... But we will break that unholy alliance... we will not let their evil designs succeed in Bengal."
