Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Wednesday launched a fierce attack on the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP), calling it the “B” party of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), and accused Rahul Gandhi, Arvind Kejriwal and leaders of the INDIA Bloc of “colluding with foreign elements” to harm India.
“The country is progressing and strengthening its position on the global stage. This is what troubles them. By joining hands with people abroad who are jealous of India, they continue to work towards harming the country,” she said while addressing a press conference.

The chief minister also accused the AAP, Congress, and other Opposition parties of troubling Delhi through protests and sit-in, calling them “dharna kings” who can’t see a bright future for themselves in politics.
She highlighted the financial strain on Delhi traders from recurring demonstrations during the festive season, noting that designated sites like Ramlila Maidan and Burari Ground are available.
“Delhi has suffered losses worth thousands of crores of rupees today. Traders are distressed, and the public is suffering. This is solely because of them. Why do you want to stage sit-ins and protests? You want to oppose the functioning of a democracy simply because you failed to form the government. I want to ask... if you form the Government in Tamil Nadu or Kerala, will such an exercise not take place there? Does this issue concern you only in states where you have failed to form the government? Where does this CJP go when issues arise in those states? Why doesn’t it go there to stage protests, the chief minister said, while criticising the Congress and other opposition leaders.
She also questioned why the CJP members had not gone to Punjab amid concerns over the drug menace in the state. “Why isn’t your focus on Punjab? Just yesterday, a murder took place in the state. Drug rackets are operating there. Why is the CJP not going there? The CJP is working as AAP’s B party and pursuing only its agenda,” the chief minister said. Activist Parvinder Singh alias Jhota, known for raising his voice against drug abuse and the illegal sale of addictive substances at chemist shops, was shot dead in broad daylight in a busy market in Punjab’s Mansa district on October 13
Questioning the AAP over its opposition to the SIR, the chief minister said the party had not raised objections when it came to power in Delhi following the previous revision exercise but had now resorted to protests after losing public support.
The chief minister said the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls was not the first time in the country. “Delhi witnessed an SIR in 2002. The Congress was in power at the Centre at the time. Yet, did Congress win even a single seat in Delhi after 2015? Was the SIR the reason for that? The public has completely rejected Congress, and that is the reason for these parties’ resentment,” the CM said.
She also slammed the CJP’s insistence on protesting at Jantar Mantar, which has recently been denotified as a designated protest site, saying that they were bent on troubling Delhi people and “destroying” the city.
She said the Congress and other organisations, in collusion, feel rejected by the people after electoral losses because the public is satisfied with the Modi Government’s development work and the country’s progress. She said Delhi suffered losses amounting to thousands of crores of rupees, and traders and ordinary people were harassed because of the protests.
