India’s Covid-19 vaccination platter has become wider and varied with the Centre placing an order for one crore doses of the world’s first Plasmid DNA Vaccine, ZyCoV-D at Rs 265 per dose.
“Zydus Cadila has received an order to supply one crore doses of ZyCoV-D, the world’s first Plasmid DNA Vaccine, to the Government of India at Rs 265 per dose and the needle-free applicator being offered at Rs 93 per dose, excluding GST,” the pharma firm said.
So far, Bharat Biotech’s Covaxin, Serum Institute of India’s Covishield and Russian made Sputnik are being offered in the Government national vaccination drive launched on January 16.
