In a horrifying incident that goes against the very tenets of humanity, a 15-month-old baby girl was raped in the confines of her home in South Delhi’s Vasant Vihar.
The badly injured and profusely bleeding baby was rushed to Safdarjung Hospital where she is now recuperating and responding to treatment.
Police arrested Jagdish the 30-year-old servant of the Air Force Group Captain in whose house the baby’s parents were living.
According to the police, the incident came to light on Friday evening when the victim’s mother came home from work and found her baby crying and bleeding. She raised an alarm and rushed the baby to hospital.

The South District police are now questioning them to ascertain the facts regarding the case.
