The villagers of special CBI Court judge Jagdeep Singh’s ancestral home at Rajpura village in Jind are elated at the audacious feat of sending Dera Sacha Sauda chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim to 20 years of rigorous imprisonment for two rapes.
Although, there is some anxiety about Singh’s safety following the judgment against the Dera chief, the villagers said they will even die to save Singh from any harm.
Singh, who did his primary education in a village school, visits his birthplace at least once in two months, said the villagers.
