A 30-year-old man was shot dead outside the Rohini court premises in Rohini sector-22 on Monday afternoon . A total of 25 rounds were fired at Ravi Bhardwaj killing him on the spot, police said.
Police suspect gang rivalry between the Tilu gang and the Gogi gang as the prime reason behind the murder.
Police said Ravi was eating at a roadside eatery when four unknown assailants in a Honda City car stopped near him and started firing indiscriminately at him.
Rajneesh Gupta, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Rohini), said, “A call was received around 1.30 pm about the firing incident. It was found that one Ravi Bhardwaj (30) was shot by three to four assailants while he was taking food at a Chole Bhature shop. When rushed to hospital, he was declared brought dead. Investigation is on.”
