Sri Srinivasan sworn in as top US court judge
Washington: Trailblazer Sri Srinivasan was today sworn in as judge of the second most powerful court of the United States, making him the first Indian American to be on the bench of the US Courts of Appeal for the District of Columbia Circuit.
SC wants law for life sans remission
New Delhi: Crimes which shock the collective conscience of society should be treated in the category of rarest of rare deserving death penalty, the Supreme Court said even as it asked the Government to make provision for life imprisonment without commutation.
