YEIDA board meeting: Revenues surge 90% as projects gain pace

The 92nd Board Meeting of the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) held on Monday. The meeting reviewed the Authority’s financial figures and approved several important development projects.
In the financial year 2025-26, receipts up to 31 July stood at Rs 974.37 crore, while in 2026-27 the same figure rose to Rs 1,853.74 crore — an increase of 90.25 per cent. Under the industrial/mixed land scheme, state receipts totalled Rs 1,195.99 crore. Expenditure also increased to Rs 3,690.64 crore.
Key decisions include the establishment of a medical college on 500 acres in Sectors 13 and 14, a university/township on 480 acres in Sector 14, 36 acres in Sector 34, and a modern international stadium on 50 acres in Sector 23B. An international bus stand has also been proposed in Sector 23B near Noida Airport.
In Sector 6, approval was granted for a Taiwan-based industry/Taiwan City on 300 acres and a Pharmaceutical Formulation Manufacturing Cluster on 100-125 acres.
The cluster will operate as per GMP standards and is expected to develop the Yamuna Expressway region into a leading pharma manufacturing hub. A medical device park with FDA-compliant testing facilities and a technical expert committee will also be set up.
In addition, the construction of a culvert on the service road in Village Agra and a proposal to revise land rates for farmers were approved. These decisions are aimed at promoting industrial growth, investment and employment generation.
