UPSIDA CEO inspects Ex-LIDA, Sarojini Nagar industrial areas

Under the leadership of the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Yogi Adityanath, the Uttar Pradesh State Industrial Development Authority (UPSIDA) is continuously working towards strengthening and expanding industrial infrastructure across the State. The Authority is making a significant contribution towards achieving the vision of transforming Uttar Pradesh into a 1 Trillion Economy.
In this direction, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), UPSIDA, conducted a field inspection of the Ex-LIDA Industrial Area and Sarojini Nagar Industrial Area on Thursday. During the inspection, detailed information regarding the infrastructure facilities, industrial activities and other related arrangements available in the areas was obtained from the concerned officers and representatives of the industrial community.
During the visit to the Ex-LIDA Industrial Area, the CEO conducted a detailed on-site assessment of various facilities and directed the concerned officers to ensure that basic infrastructure facilities are strengthened, properly maintained and systematically managed in accordance with the requirements of industrial units.
Particular emphasis was laid on the proper maintenance and upkeep of roads, drainage systems, street lighting, water supply, sanitation, electrical infrastructure and plantation within the industrial area.
Subsequently, the CEO visited the Ashok Leyland unit located in Sarojini Nagar Industrial Area and reviewed its industrial activities and operations. Thereafter, a meeting was held with the office-bearers and representatives of the Industrial Association. During the meeting, detailed discussions were held on various issues related to the industrial area, infrastructure facilities, maintenance works and matters raised by the entrepreneurs.
The CEO stated that UPSIDA is continuously working towards promoting industrial investment in Uttar Pradesh and creating a conducive environment for industries. Effective management of basic infrastructure facilities, time-bound resolution of issues faced by entrepreneurs, and regular engagement with the industrial community are among the key priorities of the Authority.
The concerned officers were directed to examine the issues and suggestions received from industrial units in accordance with the applicable rules and ensure their time-bound and effective resolution.
