A bus accident near Ghazipur in Uttar Pradesh on Friday resulted in two deaths and 35 injuries. All the victims were pilgrims from Buldhana in Maharashtra. This is the Lok Sabha constituency of Union Minister of State for Health and AAYUSH (Independent Charge) Prataprao Jadhav.
Upon receiving information about the bus accident, Jadhav immediately discussed with the State and District officials and took stock of the situation. Before he could rush to the spot due to his preoccupations, Jadhav swiftly rushed his personal staff- Private Secretary Dr Gopal Dike and APS Achal Bhatia – to reach Ghazipur Medical College the same night to monitor the situation and take care of the injured.
“They met every injured person in the hospital, inquired about their condition, and facilitated a conversation with the patients through video calls. I assured all the accident victims that during this time of crisis, my entire team and I stand firmly by their side,” Jadhav said. At the same time, the Minister appreciated the officials and acknowledged the philanthropic role played by his personal staff in times of crisis.
“Our Honourable Minister Prataprao Jadhav is a household name in Buldhana, winning continuously from there.
