UK–India ties take centre stage at high-level gathering

An exclusive dinner was organised at the India Habitat Centre in New Delhi to celebrate the enduring relationship between India and the United Kingdom and to mark Lord Uday Nagaraju of Bloomsbury's joining the House of Lords.
The invitation-only event brought together an august gathering of senior politicians, bureaucrats, diplomats, lawyers and leading industrialists. Among the distinguished attendees was Mr Prashant Tewari of The Pioneer, who participated in the evening's interactions focused on strengthening engagement between India and the United Kingdom.

Addressing the gathering, Lord Uday Nagaraju, Member of the House of Lords and Founder of AI Policy Labs, underscored the importance of deepening UK-India cooperation in key areas, including technology, artificial intelligence, innovation and public policy.
The event highlighted the growing strength of UK-India relations and reflected the shared commitment of both nations to building meaningful and enduring partnerships through closer collaboration across strategic sectors.
