Two killed in KSRTC bus accident on Bengaluru-Mysuru Expressway

Two men were killed and several others injured after a Kerala State Road Transport Corporation bus met with an accident on the Bengaluru-Mysuru Expressway on Saturday morning, Aug 8 Police reported
The accident occurred in the Bidadi area on the expressway. The bus driver and conductor succumbed to their injuries, while 14 passengers were injured and shifted to hospital, where they are stated to be in stable condition, a senior police officer said.
According to preliminary investigation, the bus driver may have dozed off while driving, following which the vehicle veered to the left side of the road and crashed, he said.
A case has been registered, police said, adding that further investigation is under way.
