Tilted building demolished in Jaipur following structural risk alert

A five-storey under-construction building in Jaipur's Malviya Nagar area was demolished by authorities after it developed serious cracks and began tilting, raising concerns about public safety.
Officials stated that the structure had become unstable during excavation work near the basement, making it a potential danger to nearby residents and properties. As a precaution, surrounding homes were evacuated before the demolition process began.
Heavy machinery was used to bring down the building in a controlled manner.
The demolition created a huge cloud of dust that spread across the area, with videos of the incident quickly circulating on social media. Authorities said the action was necessary to prevent a possible collapse and avoid any casualties.

The building owner, however, claimed that the construction had received approvals and alleged that proper legal and technical consultations were not conducted before the demolition.
Officials maintained that safety concerns and violations of building regulations prompted the action.
No injuries were reported during the operation, and authorities continue to review the circumstances surrounding the structure's instability.
