NDRF joins search for 2 teens swept away in Shimla's Pabbar river

Two 16-year-old boys were swept away by strong currents while swimming in the Pabbar river in Shimla district, officials said on Wednesday.
The missing teenagers have been identified as Shiven Roshan (16) and Saksham (16), both students of Government Senior Secondary School (Boys), Rohru.
According to the officials, the incident occurred on Tuesday evening, when two went to swim in the river after returning from school.
Police reached the spot soon after they received the information and launched search and rescue efforts.
The operation was suspended at night and was resumed on Wednesday morning.
A team of the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) also reached the spot from Shimla to join the operation.
