Trainee IPS Uday Krishna Reddy gets conditional bail in sexual harassment case

The Upparpally court granted Conditional bail to Trainee IPS Officer Uday Krishna in a sexual harassment case of a fellow IPS Trainee Officer.

During IPS training at the National Police Academy, a woman trainee IPS officer complained that Uday Krishna Reddy had sexually harassed her. Attapur Police registered a case and arrested him subsequently, he was shifted to Chanchalguda Jail, where he was remanded for 67 days.

Following the case, Reddy was suspended from the Sardar Vallabhai Patel National Police Academy.

The Court granted him bail on furnishing two sureties of Rs 25000 each. The court directed Reddy to appear before the police for investigation every Sunday.
