Tibetan group stages protest in Delhi against Xi Jinping's India visit

Members of a Tibetan group gathered at Majnu Ka Tila in Delhi on Friday to protest against Chinese President Xi Jinping's visit to India.

China announced on September 10 that Xi will attend the BRICS Summit in New Delhi on September 12 and 13.

Several members gathered there and took out a protest march in the Majnu Ka Tila area. Heavy police deployment was made to maintain law and order, a police officer said, adding that no one will be allowed to breach law and order.
