'The Paradise', led by Nani, earns over Rs 136 crore at box office

"The Paradise", starring Telugu superstar Nani, has grossed over Rs 136 crore worldwide in its first three days, according to the film's production banner.

The banner shared the box-office figure in a post on Instagram on Sunday, along with the film's poster.

"It is JADAL ZAMANA at the box office. #TheParadise collects 136 CRORES+ GROSS WORLDWIDE in 3 days. Book your tickets now," it said in the caption.

The film earned more than Rs 88 crore on its opening day, followed by over Rs 26 crore on the second day and Rs 22 crore on the third day.

"The Paradise" tells the story of a marginalised tribe facing social discrimination and being deprived of fundamental rights. Nani plays Jadal, a man who challenges the systemic oppression faced by the community.

The film released in theatres on Thursday in Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, Bengali, Telugu, English and Spanish.

Mohan Babu, Kayadu Lohar, Sonali Kulkarni and Raghav Juyal also feature in the cast.

Produced by SLV Cinemas, the film marks the reunion of Nani and director Odela after their 2023 film "Dasara".
