Telangana: Two minor boys sexually assaulted at state-run residential school

Two minor boys have allegedly been sexually assaulted by their seniors at a state-run residential school in Bowrampet near Hyderabad, police said on Monday.

The assault allegedly happened on July 27 in the school's hostel room.

Based on the complaint filed by the parents of the aggrieved boys, a case was registered on Sunday under relevant sections of the POCSO Act at Dundigal police station against the three Children in Conflict with Law (CCLs).

According to police, the aggrieved boys informed their parents about the assault on August 1 when they had gone to their home. Further investigation was on, police said.
