Syria bus collision kills at least 35, around 30 injured

At least 35 people were killed and around 30 others injured after a civilian bus collided with an Interior Ministry bus on a highway linking Damascus with Syria's eastern province of Deir el-Zour on Saturday, state media reported.
The crash took place on the desert highway, with Syrian military helicopters reportedly involved in rescue operations at the scene, according to the SANA news agency.
The cause of the collision was not immediately known.
