Saikat Chakraborty wins PRSI Best PR Manager of the Year Award

Saikat Chakraborty, Chief Manager (Corporate Communications), GAIL (India) Limited (third from left), has been conferred the prestigious Dr CVN-Public Relations Society of India (PRSI) ‘Best PR Manager of the Year (2025-26)’ Award. The award was presented by Dr G Vivek Venkataswamy, Minister for Labour, Employment, Training & Factories, and Mines & Geology, Government of Telangana, at a special ceremony held in Hyderabad.

The event was attended by Dr Ajit Pathak, National President, PRSI, along with senior dignitaries of PRSI and the Dr CVN Reddy PR Foundation. 

Chakraborty was recognised for his exemplary contributions as Lead – Corporate Communications at GAIL Gas Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of GAIL (India) Limited. Through a series of innovative public relations initiatives and strategic use of digital communication platforms, he played a pivotal role in transforming the communications function from a support service into a strategic business enabler, significantly strengthening the organisation’s brand visibility and stakeholder engagement.
