Research scholar files cybercrime complaint
Jharkhand Yuvashri Awardee, Research Scholar Avanendra Pratap alias Adisesha has filed a cyberÂcime complaint in Ranchi against the social media conspiracy running from a long time behind him.
A malicious matter of cyber stalking, data theft, intimidation and threat, defamation, blackmailing and extorting cyber racket operating from Gujarat has come to light. Adisesha named a 36-year-old unmarried woman from Gujarat to be the mastermind along with two others operating this cybercrime racket.
The Lady is also operating dozens of fake profiles and groups to operate this racket. Gang members first disguise themselves as being Facebook friends, gain trust and then cleverly provoke and start stalking private life, privacy. They directly or indirectly start blackmailing an d demand money. Their main targets are NRis, public figures, celebrities, married couples as well as youths. The matter is under great supervision and soon the police will start their investigation following strict actions.
