Quantum Mutual Fund launches Flexi Cap fund

Quantum Mutual Fund has announced the launch of Quantum Flexi Cap Fund, an open-ended dynamic equity scheme investing across large-cap, mid-cap and small-cap stocks. The New Fund Offer (NFO) opens on August 21 and closes on September 4. The scheme will reopen for continuous sale and repurchase from September 11.
The fund will follow a Growth at a Reasonable Price (GARP) investment approach and seek to identify structural changes in how value and profits are distributed across an industry’s value chain, which Quantum refers to as “Profit Pool Shifts”.
According to the fund house, these shifts can be driven by disruption, consolidation, changing consumer preferences or regulatory developments. The investment team will seek to identify companies positioned to benefit from such changes and allocate across market capitalisations based on growth opportunities and relative valuations.
Commenting on the launch, Chirag Mehta, CIO & Fund Manager, said: “The Fund is designed to identify such structural shifts through fundamental research and invest in high-quality businesses available at reasonable valuations. Our objective is to build a diversified portfolio that can compound wealth over the long-term philosophy.”
