Punjab Governor to attend Samkalp Ludhiana annual felicitation programme on June 22

Governor of Punjab, Gulab Chand Kataria, has accepted the invitation to attend the annual felicitation programme of Samkalp Ludhiana as the Chief Guest, scheduled to be held on June 22, 2026, at Ludhiana, Punjab.
In this regard, Narinder Mittal, President of Samkalp Ludhiana, met the Governor at Chandigarh along with Harish Saggar and Rajesh Nauharia and formally invited him to grace the prestigious annual event dedicated to honouring newly selected civil servants from Punjab.
Speaking on the occasion, Narinder Mittal informed that during the programme, students selected in the Indian Civil Services Examination, including IAS, IPS and other prestigious services, from across Punjab will be felicitated for their outstanding achievements.
Established in 1986, SAMKALP (Headquarters: Delhi) has been working with the vision of guiding and grooming students to join the administrative services of the country with a spirit of nationalism, integrity and commitment towards human values.
Under the aegis of Sahyog Shiksha Sewa Samittee, a voluntary organisation registered under the Societies Registration Act and dedicated to education and social service, SAMKALP Ludhiana has been actively conducting various guidance and mentorship programmes for civil services aspirants at school and college levels for the last nearly 10 years.
Through its collective initiatives across India, SAMKALP has benefitted more than 7,500 successful candidates, many of whom are presently serving the nation in important capacities in India and abroad.
The annual felicitation programme of Samkalp Ludhiana has over the years witnessed the esteemed presence of several distinguished dignitaries, including governors, union ministers, members of parliament and eminent personalities from public life.
