Northern railway to run Nanded-Shakur Basti special

To facilitate rail passengers and manage the anticipated extra rush during the ongoing summer season, the Northern Railway has announced the operation of a special train service between Nanded and Shakur Basti. 

According to a press release issued by Northern Railway, the 07658/07659 Nanded - Shakur Basti - Nanded Summer Special will undertake a single round trip to assist commuters. 

The details of the special service are as follows: Train Number 07658 is scheduled to depart from Nanded at 11.20 pm on May 21, 2026, reaching Shakur Basti at 10.15 am the following day. Train Number 07659, the return service, will depart from Shakur Basti at 10.30 pm on May 24, 2026, arriving back at Nanded at 09.00 am.

The train is slated to halt at several key stations in both directions, including Agra Cantt, Virangana Lakshmibai Jhansi Junction, Bhopal, Nagpur, Wani, Lingti, Pimpalkuti, and Kinwat. The summer special will comprise Sleeper and General coaches, catering to a wide range of passengers. Railway authorities have advised passengers to visit the National Train Enquiry System (NTES) website or dial 139 for further updates regarding timings and seat availability.
