MP Police file FIR against 4 after viral stunt shows hanging vehicle and explosives

Madhya Pradesh Police have registered an FIR against four individuals after a dangerous and highly provocative stunt involving a car suspended in the air and the use of explosives went viral on social media, officials said.
The incident reportedly took place during a Muharram procession in Ujjain district, where a vehicle was seen hanging nearly 40 feet above the ground before being detonated as part of a staged performance. The video quickly circulated online, drawing strong criticism and raising concerns over public safety and law and order.
Police said the act appeared to have been carried out without proper permission and posed serious risks to spectators and participants gathered at the event. Authorities are now investigating the organisers, participants, and the use of explosives in the stunt.
Officials added that preliminary findings suggest violations of multiple legal provisions related to public safety and explosive handling. Further investigation is underway to determine the exact nature of the materials used and whether additional persons were involved.
The case has sparked debate over the growing trend of social media-driven stunts involving vehicles, fireworks, and explosives, with authorities warning of strict action against such reckless acts.
