Meerut school owner murdered in alleged snakebite plot; wife among four arrested

Police in Uttar Pradesh's Meerut have arrested four people, including the wife of a private school owner, after uncovering an alleged murder conspiracy that investigators say was staged to look like a fatal snakebite. The victim, 32-year-old school operator Sachin Kumar, was found dead at his home, with the family initially believing he had died after being bitten by a venomous snake.

According to the police investigation, Kumar was allegedly sedated before being killed, and the accused later used a snake in an attempt to mislead investigators into treating the death as a natural incident.

During questioning, officers gathered evidence pointing to a pre-planned conspiracy involving the victim's wife and three others. All four accused have been taken into custody, and further investigations are underway to establish the motive and sequence of events.

The unusual case has drawn widespread attention due to the alleged attempt to disguise the murder as a snakebite. Authorities said forensic evidence and the post-mortem examination played a crucial role in exposing the suspected plot, and additional legal action will follow as the investigation progresses.
