Man stabs wife to death on busy road near Kodad bus stand after police counselling

A shocking murder incident was reported in Telangana’s Suryapet district after a man allegedly stabbed his wife to death in broad daylight near the Kodad bus stand following ongoing family disputes.

According to police, the accused, identified as Manideep, attacked his 24-year-old wife Sirisha on Wednesday night shortly after the couple attended a counselling session at a police station.

Eyewitnesses said the accused chased Sirisha on a busy road and stabbed her repeatedly in public, creating panic among passersby and commuters in the area.

Sirisha reportedly collapsed on the road after suffering severe injuries and excessive blood loss. She died on the spot before medical help could arrive.

Police personnel reached the scene soon after the incident and detained the accused. The body was shifted for postmortem examination while officials launched an investigation into the case.

Initial reports suggest the couple had been facing family-related disputes for some time, leading to repeated counselling efforts by police.

The brutal killing in a crowded public area has sparked concern among local residents over rising incidents of domestic violence and public safety.
