Major fire breaks out at tyre warehouse in Thane

A major fire broke out at an old tyre warehouse in the Shilphata Goteghar area of Thane on Tuesday, triggering panic among residents after thick smoke engulfed the surrounding locality.

According to officials, the fire was reported in the early hours, following which multiple fire brigade teams from Thane were immediately rushed to the spot to control the blaze.
